Elder Sahibzada
Sahibzada Ajit Singh Ji
⚔️ Age: 18 years
🕊️ 8 Poh (21 Dec 1704) – Battle of Chamkaur Sahib
The eldest son of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, born in 1687. A brave and fearless warrior, he fought valiantly in the Battle of Chamkaur Sahib. Though surrounded by thousands of Mughal soldiers, he charged into battle with unmatched courage and attained martyrdom at the age of 18, defending the Sikh faith and humanity.
"ਸੂਰਾ ਸੋ ਪਹਿਚਾਨੀਐ ਜੁ ਲਰੈ ਦੀਨ ਕੇ ਹੇਤ॥"
A warrior is one who fights for the sake of righteousness.
Second Sahibzada
Sahibzada Jujhar Singh Ji
⚔️ Age: 14 years
🕊️ 8 Poh (21 Dec 1704) – Battle of Chamkaur Sahib
The second son of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, born in 1690. After witnessing his elder brother attain martyrdom, young Jujhar Singh sought his father's permission to also join the battle. With immense bravery he fought and attained shaheedi at Chamkaur Sahib at just 14 years of age.
"ਧੰਨੁ ਜੀਵਣੁ ਪਿਤਾ ਤੇਰਾ ਜਿਨਿ ਜਣਿਓ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ॥"
Blessed is the life of your father who gave birth to you in God's Name.
Third Sahibzada
Sahibzada Zorawar Singh Ji
⚔️ Age: 9 years
🕊️ 13 Poh (26 Dec 1704) – Bricked alive at Sirhind
The third son of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, born in 1696. Captured by the Nawab of Sirhind along with his younger brother, Zorawar Singh refused to convert to Islam even under extreme pressure and threat of death. At only 9 years old, he was bricked alive — a martyr whose courage shook the Mughal empire.
"ਮਰਣੁ ਮੁਣਸਾ ਸੂਰਿਆ ਹਕੁ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਹੋਇ ਮਰਨਿ ਪਰਵਾਣੋ॥"
To die in the cause of righteousness is the right of the brave.
Youngest Sahibzada
Sahibzada Fateh Singh Ji
⚔️ Age: 7 years
🕊️ 13 Poh (26 Dec 1704) – Bricked alive at Sirhind
The youngest son of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, born in 1698 — just 7 years old at martyrdom. When the Nawab of Sirhind tried to lure him with gifts to convert to Islam, young Fateh Singh refused with unshakeable courage. He was bricked alive, becoming one of the youngest martyrs in world history.
"ਸੋ ਕਿਉ ਬਿਸਰੈ ਜਿ ਘਾਲ ਨ ਭਾਣੈ॥"
